The company was started in 1994 as ABBEY ELECTRICAL and traded successfully until 2002 when we became a Limited company.

ABBEY ELECTRICAL (CUMBRIA) LTD undertake all types of commercial, industrial and domestic general electrical contracting and intruder/fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and also provide an installation testing and portable appliance Testing service.       

We understand that the construction industry is changing and clients require greater flexibility. We can provide this either in traditional design and build or via conventional tenders.

ABBEY ELECTRICAL (CUMBRIA) LTD use qualified engineers and are National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) approved contractors ensuring that you receive the highest quality of service.
 

As from January 2005 all electrical contractors have to have their domestic work certified and registered with building control, as NICEIC contractors we are fully registered for part P for the domestic installer scheme to certify our work and to submit jobs to building control.
